Nature Walk – Vernal Pools and Wildflowers in Robinson Woods Preserve

Learn more about natural habitats and their unique flora and fauna from Cape naturalist Tony Owens. This walk will increase your awareness and appreciation of the varied open spaces in Cape Elizabeth. Walk will be held rain or shine so dress appropriately with footwear for wet walking. Little Explorers (Ages 3 – 5 with an adult)

Children and caregivers will spend an hour exploring the natural wonders of the Maine woods in Spring with CELT Board Member Lisa Gent. We’ll take a gentle hike through Robinson Woods where we will explore the habitat around us while we search for birds, reptiles, amphibians, mammals, and plant life. World Fish Migration Day

Good Night, Cape Elizabeth (2 – 6 year olds with an adult)

Children ages 2 – 6 are invited to the CELT office to enjoy a bedtime hour about nocturnal animals in Maine, our “nighttime friends.” Join Children’s Librarian Rachel Davis, author Melissa Kim, and CELT volunteer Jill Darling for stories, a craft, and a brief visit outdoors to see what animal signs we might find.
