In support of CELT's efforts to preserve the natural character of Cape Elizabeth, CELT will be reproducing the top three photographs from the contest as a greeting card to be given to new members of the Land Trust and sold as holiday cards to benefit CELT.

PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST GUIDELINES

With more than 90 photographs entered in our photo contest last year CELT is pleased to invite area photographers to submit up to 5 images for the 2008 CELT photo contest "Celebrating Cape's Natural Heritage." Winning photographs, chosen by our judges, will be announced our September 28th Harvest Festival. This year's contest will 'focus' on the four elements of Cape Elizabeth identified in CELT's mission statement, namely Shorelands, Marshes, Woodlands and Farmland. Recognition will be given in the categories of Student (under 18), Amateur and Professional.

Submission details:

• All photographs must be taken in Cape Elizabeth
• Digital and film entries accepted

Work must be submitted in the form of an 8x10 print (b/w or color), or digital image of equal resolution (at least 2400x3000 is a good rule of thumb).

All work must be clearly marked with:

• photographer's name
• address
• phone number
• location where photo was taken

All submissions will be displayed on the CELT website for the duration of the contest and winners will be announced on Sept 28th during the CELT Challenge Triathlon and Harvest Festival.
