Created by MECA&D student Emma von Lohuizen, these postcards feature native and invasive species that call Cape Elizabeth home. The designs draw inspiration from visits to CELT’s Runaway Farm preserve in fall 2021.
(Set of 2) Created by Maine College of Art and Design student Emma von Lohuizen, this postcard set features an invasive species, oriental bittersweet, and a native species, the New England cottontail, both of which are found on CELT preserves.
These prints are part of a collaboration between CELT and the MECA&D invasive species class. Emma and her classmates visited Runaway Farm in fall 2021 to learn about invasive plant removal as well as the nuances of supporting New England cottontail habitat.
