Created by Maine College of Art & Design student Emily Geaslin, these prints feature a drawing of a New England cottontail. The background was created through a process called eco printing, which involves collecting natural materials and printing them on paper for a one-of-a-kind result. This eco print was made using cuttings from invasive plant species.
These prints are part of a collaboration between CELT and the MECA&D invasive species class. Emily and her classmates visited Runaway Farm in fall 2021 to learn about invasive plant removal as well as the nuances of supporting New England cottontail habitat.
