With tremendous gratitude for 9 years of service on CELT’s Board of Directors, we are bidding a fond farewell to Bill Luneburg. A retired law professor who has lived in Cape Elizabeth since 2014 and came to the Board shortly thereafter, Bill completed his Board term this fall. While serving as Lands Committee Chair and later President, he worked tirelessly on several exciting land conservation projects and helped revise all our land conservation policies. To balance those heady assignments, he also had fun on the Paint for Preservation committee for a couple years. Bill’s dedication, commitment, knowledge, and facilitation skills have been tremendously appreciated by all. We expect that you will continue to see Bill out on CELT trails or on Cliff Island where he has summered since 1946. He will likely have a camera, at least one Labrador retriever, and perhaps a grandchild or two in tow. Thanks, Bill, for a job well done!
