What We Do

Education

Together with land preservation and stewardship, education is the third core action area of our work. Our programs and events strive to generate awareness of our local natural areas and educate students and other members of the public about the ways to be good environmental stewards.

Supported almost exclusively by grants from private foundations and donor-designated gifts, our education programs are organized by the education coordinator and CELT’s Education Committee. The committee is comprised of local residents and teachers who attend bi-monthly meetings to oversee the creation and implementation of new projects.
