CDC Recommends Leashes for All Dogs

Updated July 14, 2020, 12:00 pm

Read the full CDC guidance for pet owners here.

Until further notice, leashes are required at all times on CELT trails, per CDC guidance.

Excerpt: “Walking your dog is important for both animal and human health and well-being. Walk dogs on a leash, and stay at least 6 feet (2 meters) away from others. Do not gather in groups, stay out of crowded places, and avoid mass gatherings. To help maintain social distancing, do not let other people pet your dog when you are out for a walk.”
