“The Pond Cove Brook meanders through the Hobstone section of Land Trust property, and then cuts across our back yard. There was once a farm here with lots of debris in their former “dump.” We fished out some broken glass and an old bucket which we quickly filled with trash from the brook.” —Brenda Moulton and Pat Potter
“We have also been eradicating invasive Japanese Barberry, which [proliferated] from an old hedge. We removed the hedge two years ago, but still have lots to remove. Here are today’s efforts.” —Brenda Moulton and Pat Potter
“I found this little beauty while on a run in Winnick Woods today. Hepatica isn’t your everyday plant sighting so I thought you might appreciate the heads up… It was a fantastic Earth Day find!” —Kelly Corbin
