Join Executive Director at Great Pond

Many CELT volunteers have worked over the past few months to prepare our 22-acre Great Pond Preserve for visitors. First, both 8th graders and high school seniors volunteered to clear invasive plants and to build more than 3,000 feet (3/4 mile) of trails. Then CELT purchased and installed 200 feet of boardwalk to allow people to explore the extensive wetlands. And finally, our summer intern Aidan Black installed trail markers and signs to guide the way. We are eager to share with you these expanded opportunities for recreation and wildlife viewing that CELT is now able to offer the community on this beautiful property. Join CELT Executive Director Cindy Krum on Thursday, October 19th from 5:15-6:00 p.m. for a guided walk to learn all about the property and the many wonders it holds.
