Description/History

Jordan’s Farm has special agricultural significance from many points of view. Historically,  Jordan’s Farm has been a unique coastal fruit and vegetable farm in Cape Elizabeth. It is a five-generation farm run by the Jordan family with an ever-expanding variety of fruits and vegetables. Due to the naturally occurring soils on the farm, it is well-suited for supporting a variety of plant life. Jordan’s Farm offers a unique diversity of natural resources with open space bordering wetlands and woodlands. In association with the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the Land for Maine’s Future board, CELT was able to purchase the easement, ensuring the land’s agricultural uses in perpetuity.

Public access is not permitted, but we invite you to visit the seasonal Jordan Farm Stand off of Wells Road, or learn more about the farm on their website.

The Jordan family describes the purpose of their work:

“To bring a wider variety of the freshest vegetables possible. Although we grow larger, one thing will never change – we’re committed to bringing you only the freshest possible vegetables, grown right here in Cape Elizabeth.”
