Description/History

The Old Farm Christmas Place is located on about half of Dyer-Hutchinson’s 49 acres of protected fields, undeveloped forest, wetlands, open space, and agriculture land. The protection of this property ensures the pristine natural character of the land and allows for agricultural use in perpetuity. Jay Cox purchased the land for the tree farm from Tom Hinkle and began planting trees in 2002. The Old Farm Christmas Place joins a strong heritage of farming families in Cape Elizabeth and is a wonderful place to spend your winter weekend with hot chocolate, wagon rides, and bonfires.
