Our next Saturday volunteer work party will be at the end of June, marking the first week of summer! This event will focus on removing invasive plants and any garbage from the Trundy Point preserve, building on past efforts to establish a healthier ecosystem of native plants onsite.
Let’s meet by the trailhead at the back curve of Reef Road, Cape Elizabeth, ME 04107. There’s a bike rack onsite and parking available on nearby residential streets in accordance with Town regulations. Please be sure to avoid parking along the blind corner and keep neighbors’ driveways unobstructed. For tools, we’ll have some shovels, clippers, and work gloves to share, but certainly bring any you have that may help, plus sunscreen and water to stay hydrated.
Please sign up on Eventbrite to help with numbers, and reach out with any questions to info@capelandtrust.org or (207) 767-6054. Hope to see you there!
