Our October Volunteer Work Party will be on Saturday, October 3 to remove invasive plants by the preserve near Great Pond. Let’s meet at 9 AM in the Kettle Cove Ice Cream & Shack parking area (2 Bowery Beach Rd — thx for letting us park there for this volunteer event!), and we can walk into the trail from there.
There will be some clippers, shovels, and work gloves to share, but feel free to bring any tools you may have that could help. Be sure to wear appropriate clothing for a morning outdoors, and remember to bring water to stay hydrated.
